Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU role requiring active MI licensure and strong pre/post-op and recovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital PACU setting
• Care for patients in both the pre-operative and post-anesthesia phases
• Utilizes Epic EMR system (experience preferred)
• Floating between pre- and post-op responsibilities as needed
• Responsibilities include pre-op patient preparation and post-anesthesia care and monitoring
• Scheduling requests must be submitted with application and cannot be modified after offer
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
• Local travelers may only complete one travel assignment

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required at the time of application
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Pre- and post-operative nursing experience required
• Prior PACU experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Submission must include recent PACU skills checklist and two supervisory references within the last two years
• Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility location
