Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting with the ability to float to multiple clinics and manage a varied patient population.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinical setting with float requirements to multiple affiliated clinics
- Patient population includes basic orthopedic, vestibular, geriatric, workers’ compensation, and some collegiate athletes
- Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week, with 12-14 patients seen per day
- Double-booking of follow-up visits expected
- 8-hour day shifts, with an expectation of up to 40 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Main responsibilities include providing physical therapy treatments, managing documentation, and maintaining productivity standards
- Team-oriented environment with support across multiple locations
- Floating is required among specified associated clinics
- 60-visit weekly productivity expectation helps structure workload
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible, with terms differing from travel candidates
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license required if applicable
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Recent graduates and first-time travelers will be considered
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and multitask in a fast-paced environment
