Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (R) certification, IEMA licensure, and clinical competency in Mammography for a day shift role.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based mammography department serving Main Campus and Lakeview locations
• Day shift schedule is 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 5x8 hour shifts per week
• Weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating may be required to other units or campuses as needed by management
• Responsibilities include performing high-quality mammography exams in accordance with MQSA and department standards
• Adherence to all safety and infection control protocols is required
• Vaccination status must be up to date for consideration
• 75 mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at a local rate
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided prior to start

Requirements

• Graduation from a two-year hospital-based training program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate’s Degree in Radiology Technology
• Current IEMA licensure
• ARRT (R) certification in Radiography required
• CPR/BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Clinical and technical competency in Mammography meeting MQSA requirements
• ARRT Mammography certification within 12 months of start date
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of experience
• Must have an IL license in hand for consideration
• Two professional references required, including one from leadership within the past year
