Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a KS or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
Required to work 1-2 weekends in a 4-week period
13-week contract assignment
Responsibilities include providing emergency nursing care during night shifts
Workplace Violence Prevention certification (DCI/BVP) can be completed through Relias or free CDC resources
Flu shot, COVID vaccination, drug screen, and PPD testing may be required
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

Active KS or compact RN license
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration
NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications required or must be completed prior to or during assignment
