Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts with strong skills in conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilator management in WV.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU at a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00pm-7:30am)
• Every other weekend required
• Float to other units as needed
• Patient population averaging 0.2 patients per day
• Uses CPSI EMR system
• Responsible for providing intensive care nursing, including advanced monitoring and treatments
• Wine and/or burgundy scrubs required; scrubs not provided
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• No prior permanent employment at the facility is specified as a restriction

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilator management skills required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Travel experience not required
