Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with ARRT (M) certification and proficiency in Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment for a busy outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting specializing in mammography
• Fast-paced environment with a daily caseload of up to 55 patients
• Minimum of 20 screening mammograms required per day
• Responsible for both screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Utilizes Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment
• Epic is used for charting
• Scheduled for 5x8 hour day shifts, 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating required to sister facilities within the region as needed
• Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
• Positive attitude, strong communication, and flexibility are essential
• Orientation occurs onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Scrub top must be any shade of pink or dark teal, black bottom required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must include all requested RTO at time of submission; extended or holiday RTO is subject to facility approval
• Returning employees must have at least a 1-year separation from previous employment in the system
• All employees may be required to participate in emergency response during hurricane season (June–November)

Requirements

• Current ARRT (M) certification
• SCRQSA (M) South Carolina state license in hand prior to start; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum of 1 year recent mammography experience
• Proficiency with Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment is required
• Ability to perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• SSN and driver’s license required for consideration
