Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN with a current CA license, BLS, ACLS, and recent cardiac cath and IR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a hospital setting
- Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
- Weekend coverage required every third weekend
- Requires experience with Cerner EMR
- No blocked or self-scheduling
- Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
- Must provide all RTO (requested time off) at the time of application; no changes allowed after submission
- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Team-based environment with required support from experienced professionals
- Must follow unit dress code and pass all required testing prior to start
- Candidates must provide at least one supervisory reference from the past year
Requirements
- Active and valid CA RN license is required at time of consideration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab and IR experience preferred
- At least 1 year of acute care experience required
- Cerner charting experience required
- No first-time travelers will be considered
- Must pass EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
- Candidates must not have worked as a traveler at the facility within the past year
