Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active NV RN license and EPIC charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Telemetry T7 unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Epic EMR used, with training during orientation or test-out option
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Minimum of two major holidays required during assignment
• No local candidates permitted; must live more than 60 miles from facility
• RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of application and cannot be added later
• A 13-week break is required for returning travelers after contract completion
• Holiday coverage expectation includes at least two major holidays
• Epic EMR training is provided during orientation or candidates may test out
• KRONOS is used for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active Nevada RN license required for consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience in telemetry
• American Heart Association (AHA) certification required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring equipment preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred but training will be provided
