Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT certification and Siemens scanner skills for a 36-hour night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position involves coverage at two sites: an outpatient imaging center and a hospital-based MRI unit
• Patient population is primarily adult radiology outpatients and inpatients
• Shifts are Wednesday through Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and Saturday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating coverage between two MRI locations is required
• Use of Siemens MRI scanners is required
• Epic EMR is used and proficiency is preferred
• Floating to other units or sites within scope may be required
• Rotating holiday coverage is part of the schedule
• Primary responsibilities include conducting MRI scans, patient positioning, and IV contrast administration as needed
• Expected to provide rotating holiday coverage per department protocol
• Teamwork and flexibility to float between locations are important
• Parking may incur costs depending on location
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the department
• Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season
• Applicants residing locally within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but may be offered a lower pay rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience required
• Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required
• Valid BLS certification from AHA is required
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners is required
• Phlebotomy skills and proficiency with Outlook are necessary
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential
• Flu vaccine required with no medical or religious exemptions allowed
• License required if applicable
