Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele respiratory position on a day shift, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a Med/Surg Telemetry Respiratory unit
• Work schedule is 07:00 to 19:00 on day shifts
• Patients are managed on the 7 North unit with general Med/Surg and telemetry needs
• Orientation hours are included at the start of the assignment
• Uses Meditech as the EMR system
• No restrictions on local candidates, and the pay rate remains the same for all
• Virtual orientation covers competency-based modules
• All required competencies and training must be completed before starting the assignment
• No HealthStream modules are required prior to the start date
• Cardiac exam must be completed after offer acceptance
• Timekeeping will be managed using Centricity

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required; no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• No past or current hits on licensure allowed
• Minimum 2 years of total RN experience with at least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Tele
• Current references from within the past year required
• Resume, full SSN, license verification, and valid driver's license must be provided for consideration
