Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET and nuclear medicine, holding NMTCB and PET certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine unit with a focus on general nuclear medicine cases (no cardiac cases)
- Utilizes Siemens PET CT, Siemens, and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
- Scheduled for day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Rotation of on-call duties for emergency cases is required
- First-time travelers are welcome
- No minimum experience required
- Must wear royal blue or khaki scrubs
- No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
- Former permanent staff must have at least one year separation before applying as a traveler
- Up to three days of RTO will be auto-approved, but no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
Requirements
- NMTCB and PET certifications required
- Competency in both PET and general nuclear medicine procedures is required
- Epic charting experience is preferred
- License required if applicable
- Locals within 50 miles are not eligible
