Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET and nuclear medicine, holding NMTCB and PET certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine unit with a focus on general nuclear medicine cases (no cardiac cases)
Utilizes Siemens PET CT, Siemens, and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
Scheduled for day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Rotation of on-call duties for emergency cases is required
First-time travelers are welcome
No minimum experience required
Must wear royal blue or khaki scrubs
No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
Former permanent staff must have at least one year separation before applying as a traveler
Up to three days of RTO will be auto-approved, but no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

NMTCB and PET certifications required
Competency in both PET and general nuclear medicine procedures is required
Epic charting experience is preferred
License required if applicable
Locals within 50 miles are not eligible
