Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts requiring current MA licensure, Epic EMR proficiency, and advanced life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Mid shift schedule: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system; Epic experience required
• Cares for diverse emergency room patient population
• RTO (time off) of no more than 7 days is allowed during the assignment
• Returning permanent staff are not eligible to return as travelers at any time
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 50 miles
• Preferred scrub color is blue, though not strictly required
• Two recent professional references from the past 12 months are required
• DOB and full SSN must be provided for consideration

Requirements

• Active MA RN license or MA Temp License required for consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; all must be valid through the contract or proof of renewal provided
• Epic EMR experience required
• Covid-19 vaccination required unless a valid medical or religious exemption is provided
