Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN with at least one year of L&D experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00)
Utilizes MEDITECH EMR system; experience not required
13-week contract assignment
Local candidates are accepted at the regular rate
Provide care for mothers in labor and delivery, including pre- and post-partum care
May attend to both high- and low-risk obstetric cases as needed
Travel experience is preferred but not required
Must keep requests for time off to a minimum and submit them with initial application
No restrictions on prior employment with this health system specified

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of one year of current L&D experience relevant to the assigned position
Documentation of work experience within the last three years required
Two supervisory references required for consideration
