Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a current MA license and Epic EMR proficiency for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Patient population consists of acute and emergency cases
• Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR system and experience is required
• Returning permanent staff are not eligible to return as travelers at any time
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off is allowed during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• No specific scrub color is required, but blue is recommended

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration; MA temporary license accepted
• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; certifications cannot expire within 30 days of start
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide approved medical or religious exemption
• Epic EMR experience required
• Date of birth and full Social Security number required for consideration
• Two professional references from the past 12 months required
