Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for night shifts with ARRT, BLS, and GE MRI experience in a large hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in the MRI department of a large hospital environment
• Night shifts scheduled for Friday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12s)
• Primary modality is MRI; may perform other imaging procedures based on departmental needs
• Patient flow coordination and Radiology Department activities included
• GE equipment used in daily operations
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Responsible for independently performing diagnostic MRI procedures and administering contrast media as needed
• Works within scope of practice for medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture
• Expected to maintain MRI equipment in proper working condition
• Every other holiday coverage required
• N95 fitting required for certain unit assignments unless PAPR is provided
• On-call responsibilities may be included per departmental needs
• Local radiology candidates within 50 miles may be eligible for consideration
• RTO must be requested with initial application and additional RTO will not be added after offer

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major related to Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT, BLS (AHA), and ODH certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI tech experience in a large hospital; Level 1 trauma preferred, Level 2 accepted
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Experience using GE MRI equipment required
• Travel experience preferred
• License required if applicable
