Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification and recent travel experience for varied diagnostic imaging shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic radiology setting with responsibilities across inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, OR (including C-arm), fluoroscopy, and portable x-ray imaging
• Rotating shifts with variations between 8 to 12 hours based on coverage needs
• Float to other sites as needed, but no more than one site per day
• Required to work weekends and handle patients across all age groups
• Epic EMR experience is required for most units
• Weekly schedule is posted 4 weeks in advance
• Candidates must not have worked permanently at any Cambridge facility previously
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Scrubs may be any color

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• Active MA Radiologic Technologist license required at the time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiology specialty and prior travel assignment experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Familiarity with varied x-ray equipment and operating room imaging procedures
• Epic EMR system experience required
• Flu vaccination required during flu season
