Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification and recent travel experience for varied diagnostic imaging shifts.
Responsibilities
- Work in a diagnostic radiology setting with responsibilities across inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, OR (including C-arm), fluoroscopy, and portable x-ray imaging
- Rotating shifts with variations between 8 to 12 hours based on coverage needs
- Float to other sites as needed, but no more than one site per day
- Required to work weekends and handle patients across all age groups
- Epic EMR experience is required for most units
- Weekly schedule is posted 4 weeks in advance
- Candidates must not have worked permanently at any Cambridge facility previously
- Block scheduling is not allowed
- No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted
- Bi-weekly orientation provided
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Scrubs may be any color
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification required
- Active MA Radiologic Technologist license required at the time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiology specialty and prior travel assignment experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Familiarity with varied x-ray equipment and operating room imaging procedures
- Epic EMR system experience required
- Flu vaccination required during flu season
