Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with an active NY license and EPIC experience for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Night shifts from 21:00 to 07:30
• Thirteen-week contract assignment
• Care for adult and pediatric surgical patients
• Use EPIC EMR system with prior experience required
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Competency testing may be required as part of the onboarding process
• More than three call outs during the thirteen-week contract may result in termination, and makeup shifts are required within six weeks
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Local candidates living within a 50-mile radius, specifically in listed counties, are not eligible
• Travel pairs are not allowed

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum two years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Current certifications from AHA or RQI required
• EPIC EMR experience required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Facility only allows medical exemptions for flu vaccination, signed by a licensed professional
