Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a varied shift assignment, requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and Siemens equipment proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures
• Afternoon and day shifts with an 8-hour workday
• Varied schedule including one weekend per month
• No on-call requirements
• Utilizes Siemens MRI equipment
• Daily responsibilities include preparing scan rooms, patient screening, positioning patients, administering IV or oral contrast materials, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring image quality
• Accurate recordkeeping and preparing information for radiologist review is expected
• Matching scrubs of any color are required for this position
• Requests for time off must be made prior to offer, and a maximum of 5 days of RTO is allowed
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Only one travel assignment is permitted for local travelers

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience required
• Associate degree in a related field required
• Active ARRT or AMRIT MRI certification required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Experience operating Siemens MRI scanners is mandatory
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility address
• Work history, a recent MRI-specific skills checklist, and two supervisory reference forms from the last two years are required for consideration
• License required if applicable
