Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with ARRT or RCIS certification and at least 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience for an acute care setting.
Details
- Work in a cardiac cath lab within an acute care setting
- Single suite/lab with an average of 1-3 cases per day
- Primarily adult inpatient and outpatient population with diagnoses including CAD and AMI
- Perform procedures such as left heart caths, stent placement, ICD and pacemaker implantation
- Use Siemens cath, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUS equipment and chart using Epic EMR
- Day shifts scheduled 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 8 hours, with call requirement
- Call required 1-2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month, and rotating holidays covering 3 campuses
- 30-minute call response time to home campus required
- Floating to Lakeside and Immanuel (Omaha) as needed
- Hospital-supplied scrubs provided
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent cardiac cath lab experience required
- Current ARRT or RCIS certification and BLS (AHA) required
- Active state or compact licensure required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
- Experience with Siemens cath, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUS systems and Epic EMR preferred
- Cath lab skills including scrubbing, monitoring, and documentation
- Driver's license required for radius verification
- Must be able to provide 2 professional references as specified
Additional Information
- Assist physicians by scrubbing and monitoring during cath lab procedures and managing case documentation
- Orientation provided at all 3 campuses, 1-3 days each
- Coverage team supervised by an on-site supervisor
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas and must be removed
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and may not be active employees of any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
- Must meet a 30-minute response time to home site when on call
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Hospital-supplied scrubs are required attire
