Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist experienced in Epic EMR and able to float within state facilities.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care hospital setting
• Work on the mammography unit with day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Travelers may be required to float between like units and all facilities within the state
• Uses Epic for charting
• Imaging techs are required to wear black scrubs
• Free parking is available on-site
• Returning former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before applying as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Requested time off must be included at time of application; post-submission requests may be denied
• All travelers are expected to float as needed or assigned within state facilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Mammography Technologist required unless otherwise noted
• Current required certifications must be provided for consideration
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
• License required if applicable
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of recent employment in a comparable specialty or setting
• Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
