Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT, BLS, and 1-3 years recent IR experience for neuro and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology unit assisting with neuro, vascular, and CT/ultrasound-guided procedures
• Shifts are four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call rotation of 1-2 call shifts per week and one weekend every 6 weeks
• Utilizes EPIC for charting, Siemens single and Bi-plane equipment, and McKesson PACS
• Patient population includes those requiring vascular and interventional radiology procedures
• Assist physicians with a variety of neuro, vascular, and image-guided procedures
• Act as first assist, circulating technologist, and support filming and charging
• Scrubbing proficiency required for supporting complex interventions
• Must provide two references from supervisors within the last three years of employment
• Local travelers living within a 75-mile radius are not accepted

Requirements

• Active ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
• RTR or RTRVI certification required
• KY Radiation Operator's License required before start date
• Minimum 1-3 years of recent interventional radiology (IR) experience required
• Proficient in scrubbing as first assist, circulating, filming, and charging exams in EPIC
• Experience with vascular interventional radiology (VIR) procedures
• Preferred experience with EPIC, Siemens equipment, and McKesson PACS
• License required if applicable
