Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer to perform both cardiac and vascular studies at a community hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a community hospital setting as an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer
• Day shift position with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, five days per week
• Responsible for performing both cardiac and vascular imaging studies
• Patient population primarily includes adults in a general community hospital environment
• Travelers must not have been employed at this health system within the previous 12 months
• This is a drug and tobacco-free workplace with a natural nail policy in effect
• Time-off requests must be included for consideration and holiday coverage is not guaranteed
• The facility is smoke-free and does not allow smoking anywhere on campus
• Candidates may be required to undergo fingerprinting as part of pre-employment screening with results needed before starting

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of experience in an Echo or Cardiac Sonographer role
• Completion of a diploma, Associate’s, or BSN degree from an accredited school (ACEN or CCNE accreditation accepted)
• Current applicable certification(s) in Echo/Cardiac Sonography required
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers are accepted
