Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a CA RN license and recent travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU within a hospital setting
• Care for adult cardiac and critical care patients
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• Required to float to similar or lower acuity units throughout the organization as needed, excluding the Emergency Department
• Must work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week cycle and at least one winter holiday, including the holiday weekend
• Primary responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Floating may involve assignments to various units with similar or reduced acuity
• Holiday and weekend shift participation is required as part of the unit policy

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience with at least 6 consecutive months of travel nursing between 07/2025 and present
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS all required at time of consideration
• Must be available for an interview
• Candidates residing within a 100-mile radius are not eligible
