Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least one year of recent clinical experience and an active state license for a contract-to-hire day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Provides care in a physical therapy department with diverse patient populations
• Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Uses Epic charting system for all patient documentation
• Opportunity to work with both adult and, ideally, pediatric populations
• Contract-to-hire assignment
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation of progress
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and work well in a team
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before consideration
• Background check and drug screening required prior to start, with strict due dates for documentation
• Up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus may be offered
• Pediatric experience is a plus

Requirements

• Current and valid state Physical Therapist license required, if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a clinical setting as a Physical Therapist
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school required; Doctorate preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required, unexpired at start date
• Experience with Epic EMR charting required
• Ultrasound experience preferred
• Must be organized, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate professionalism
