Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with at least two years of experience and an active MS or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital-based Cath Lab setting
• Day shifts, 4x10s, 6:30-17:00, with schedule subject to change during interview
• On-call required, including STEMI call 8-12 days per month and at least one full weekend each month
• Weekend shifts as needed
• Floating may occur between similar units and campuses within a 20-mile radius, though this is rare
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred
• This is a Level I Trauma Center environment
• Must be able to take STEMI call multiple times monthly, including assigned weekends
• All requested time off must be reported prior to contract signing
• Holiday coverage required for two out of three major holidays if your assignment spans Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's; if only two, must work at least one
• Returning employees must have a one-year separation before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
• Candidate must provide vaccination status documentation
• Assignment requires flexibility as shift times may change based on department needs

Requirements

• Active MS or compact RN license required at time of application
• Minimum two years' Cath Lab RN experience required
• At least one completed travel assignment required; no first-time travelers allowed
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Driver’s license must be provided for consideration
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
