Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg assignment with pulmonary and medical overflow patients, requiring an active IN or Compact RN license and AHA BLS.

Responsibilities

• Work on the Medical Surgical 6 South unit with a focus on pulmonary and medical overflow patients
• 22-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for pulmonary and medical overflow patient populations
• All positions are auto-offer with no interview process
• Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced pay rate based on facility radius rules
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
• Travelers should discuss possible assignment extension with their manager at least 45 days before end of contract
• Must only apply to one position within the health system at a time

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Nursys license verification with primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a U.S. Social Security Number and a U.S. home address
• Submission of two professional references is required
• Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
