Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn ICU position requiring two years of ICU experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a Burn ICU within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend work required
  • Holiday coverage required as needed by the unit
  • Patient care in a level II trauma center
  • Utilizes the Epic EMR system
  • Care for critically ill burn patients in a specialized ICU environment
  • Must be able to work both weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate, except for specific restrictions as per facility policy

Requirements

  • Active MD or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum two years of ICU experience in a level II trauma center or similar setting
  • Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required
  • Current certifications in BLS (CPR) and ACLS required
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
