Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Burn ICU position requiring ICU experience at a level II trauma center and proficiency with Epic EMR.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Burn ICU of a hospital setting
- Patient population consists of burn and critical care cases within a level II trauma environment
- Uses Epic EMR for documentation
- Rotating 12-hour shifts of 7A/7P, including every other weekend
- Holiday coverage required as needed per unit
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill burn patients in the ICU
- Compliance with all unit policies, including weekend and holiday coverage
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except for Howard County General, where locals within 60 miles are not eligible
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of two years ICU experience in a level II trauma setting
- Experience in hospitals with 500+ bed count
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
