Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 6-bed ICU position in Alaska requiring a current AK RN license and at least 3 years of recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a 6-bed ICU within a hospital setting
Nurse to patient ratio ranges from 2:1 to 3:1
12-hour night shifts required
Uses Meditech and Pyxis Supply Stations for medication and supply management
On-call coverage required as needed
Standard 3-day department orientation provided
Must complete onsite medication testing within the first two weeks
Scrubs are required but not provided
Must follow CBA guidelines for scheduling

Requirements

Active AK state RN license required
Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
