Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a dayshift Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position requiring at least one year of experience and current ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab of a hospital setting
  • Dayshift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Assigns nursing care to groups of patients within the EP Lab
  • Involvement in minor diagnostic procedures and electrophysiology treatments
  • Patient monitoring, IV infusions, and medication administration responsibilities
  • Core responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and intervention in the EP Lab environment
  • Must provide patient and family education related to care plans and hospital procedures
  • Works collaboratively with physicians, support staff, and other care providers
  • Oversight of support staff and delegation of appropriate tasks required

Requirements

  • Active Oklahoma or compact state (eNLC) RN license required
  • At least 1 year of RN experience
  • Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
  • Ability to function independently in specialty area after orientation
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
