Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least one year of acute care experience, BLS certification, and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Primarily an outpatient physical therapy role with occasional coverage in acute care and inpatient rehab settings
• Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 to 17:30 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• On-call rotation every 7 weeks as needed
• Rotating holiday coverage with one holiday per year
• Patient documentation completed in Epic EMR
• Candidates may need to float between outpatient, acute care, and inpatient rehab as needed
• Caribbean blue or khakis with lab coat required for attire
• A 70-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted
• Holiday coverage is rotated among staff
• Two supervisory professional references from the last 2 years are required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• State PT license required, if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Rehabilitation hospital setting experience preferred
