Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a MA license, ACLS/BLS, and Level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Operating Room setting within a hospital
• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts from 10:45 to 23:15
• No weekends and no on-call responsibilities
• Provides care to surgical patients in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Responsibilities include providing skilled perioperative care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• No previous disciplinary action on nursing license permitted

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Previous Level 1 trauma experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must be able to pass a pass/fail EKG test
• Candidates must live at least 200 miles from the facility for consideration
