Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position with night shifts, ICU/critical care background, and required ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a hospital setting
Works 3x12 hour night shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
Every other weekend and holidays required as scheduled
Floating required within the specialty, to sister units, and lower acuity units as needed
Deliver postoperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia
Must be able to adapt to various unit needs through floating
Work may include caring for patients across different care levels depending on unit needs
Holiday coverage will be assigned according to hospital needs

Requirements

Active MD or Compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, critical care, or PACU
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
First time travelers will be considered
