Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department assignment requiring current ACLS and BLS certifications and a MO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
• Night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating to other units required as needed
• Expected to work at least 50% of holidays during contract
• Weekend shifts are assigned
• Preferred EMR is Cerner
• Must be able to take call as needed
• Floating to different units may be required based on staffing needs
• Must be willing and able to work assigned weekends and at least half of contract holidays
• Local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius, typically at a reduced rate
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Free onsite CPI Blue Card training available for those required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in Emergency Department
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Must be able to fulfill the duration of assigned shifts and contract
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
