Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR X-Ray Technologist with X-ray OR experience, ARRT and SCRQSA credentials, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• This role is exclusively in the operating room environment
• Work involves rotation between two campuses
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
• Five 8-hour day shifts per week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call required one weekday per week and every fifth weekend
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility
• Responsibilities include performing X-ray imaging in a surgical setting
• Candidates must pass cardiac dysrhythmia and moderate sedation exams during orientation with only one attempt allowed
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• RTO must be submitted with initial application; additional RTO requests will not be accommodated
• Travelers are subject to the facility’s attendance policy, with contracts subject to review for excessive absences

Requirements

• ARRT and SCRQSA licensure required; pending license accepted prior to start
• Current BLS certification required
• A minimum of 1 year of OR X-ray technologist experience is required, with 2 years preferred
• License required if applicable
