Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night position requiring a MD or compact RN license and BLS/NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00–07:30
• Patient population includes admissions from the emergency department who meet admission criteria
• Every other weekend work is required
• Candidates must provide care for patients admitted from the ED
• Locals and first-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Four hours of annual continuing education units (CEUs) required
