Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for night shifts with at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an adult setting covering ER, ICU, and performing portable ultrasounds
• General ultrasound procedures including abdominal aorta, appendix, biliary tract, breast, gallbladder, intraoperative, liver, lung biopsy, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen
• Uses GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite ultrasound equipment
• Epic EMR is required
• Night shifts, 4x10 hours, Sunday through Wednesday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No local candidates within a 50 mile radius
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Scrubs must be Caribbean blue or surgical scrubs from the facility
• Requested time off should be limited to one week over a 13-week contract and not include holidays
• Call off policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment, including when placed on-call in lieu of a shift

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• License required if applicable
• Previous charge experience preferred
