Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a compact or MD RN license and a minimum of two years of Cath Lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Cath Lab environment
- Day shifts, 4x10-hour schedule from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Every other weekend shifts required
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Floating required within specialty, to sister units, and as needed to lower acuity units
- Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Must be comfortable floating to related units as needed
- Teamwork and communication skills are essential
- Candidates must be willing to work scheduled holidays and rotating weekends
Requirements
- Active RN license for MD or a compact state
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required, with 3 years preferred
- CPI certification preferred
