Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a day shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and call rotation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology unit
• Daily caseload averages 15 procedures per technologist
• Day shift options include 5x8, 4x10, or 4x9 hour schedules
• On-call required 2 days per week and may include holidays and every third weekend
• Call-back response time is 30 minutes
• Floating to sister facilities may be required if the candidate possesses appropriate skills
• Uses Cerner McKesson and Cerner charting systems
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travelers are allowed up to two call-offs per assignment
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• No parking costs for staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of interventional radiology technologist experience
• Current license required if applicable; pending state licenses will be accepted if active prior to start
• Ability to maintain a sterile environment while assisting with minimally invasive procedures
