Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CVICU RN with at least two years of CVICU or open heart experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications for night shifts.

Responsibilities

Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital
Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:30-08:00)
Every other weekend required
Floating required within specialty, to sister units, and lower acuity units as needed
Holiday coverage required as scheduled
First-time travelers are considered if they meet experience requirements
Must be comfortable floating to related units as needed

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license required
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
Minimum of two years of CVICU or open heart experience required
