Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position with trauma, cardiovascular, and neuro experience and night shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
• Patient population includes trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• Night shift, 3x12 hours per week from 19:00 to 7:00
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating may be required to the IMC unit
• Uses Epic EMR system; experience with Epic is required
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
• Maximum of one requested time off (RTO) allowed during the contract
• Will not accommodate block scheduling
• No on-call requirement
• Must provide proof of driver's license and social security number for consideration

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license is required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience, 3 years preferred
• Experience with trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient populations
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Pending license accepted
