Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a MD or Compact RN license, with three years of recent experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Patient ratios are 1:6
• Weekend shifts are required
• Floating required to other Med/Surg Tele floors only
• No on-call responsibilities
• Only one time-off request is permitted during the assignment
• Two references required for consideration
• Local candidates are accepted under the same terms as travelers
• No block scheduling is available

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required, 4 years preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Not open to first-time travelers
• Pending state license accepted
• Royal blue scrubs required
