Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a current NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment
• Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
• Competency testing may be required prior to start with up to two attempts to pass
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination with makeup shifts required within six weeks
• Request for time off (RTO) must be made with the application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Candidates may only apply to one position at a time

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI are required
• Epic EMR experience is required for all candidates
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required—Canadian SIN not accepted
• Flu vaccination required unless medically exempt with signed documentation
• Candidates who reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
