Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring EPIC EMR experience and an active NY RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Works exclusively with emergency patient population
• Uses EPIC EMR for documentation and charting, prior experience required
• No local candidates from specified counties within a 50-mile radius are eligible
• Medical exemptions for flu vaccine must be signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exceptions are not accepted
• More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period will result in contract termination and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Time off (RTO) must be requested during application
• Travel pairs are not allowed
• Travelers may only be considered for one position at a time

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory for all applicants
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN is not accepted
