Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a KY or compact license and AHA certifications for a night shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU/CCU unit of a hospital setting
- Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Care provided to patients requiring intensive and critical care
- 13-week assignment duration
- No local travelers; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- No exceptions to vaccination policy for Flu or COVID-19
- All RNs are required to complete CPI as part of onboarding
- Not accepting Canadian Social Security Numbers
- Only candidates with active, valid certifications at start date will be considered
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license with no restrictions or disciplinary actions
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications must be valid through the duration of the assignment
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required at time of consideration; proof of enrollment is not accepted
- Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training, which may be completed onsite
- Must be fully vaccinated against Flu and COVID-19 with documentation
- US Social Security Number is required for consideration
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
