Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a KY or compact license and AHA certifications for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in the ICU/CCU unit of a hospital setting
Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Care provided to patients requiring intensive and critical care
13-week assignment duration
No local travelers; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
No exceptions to vaccination policy for Flu or COVID-19
All RNs are required to complete CPI as part of onboarding
Not accepting Canadian Social Security Numbers
Only candidates with active, valid certifications at start date will be considered

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license with no restrictions or disciplinary actions
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications must be valid through the duration of the assignment
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required at time of consideration; proof of enrollment is not accepted
Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training, which may be completed onsite
Must be fully vaccinated against Flu and COVID-19 with documentation
US Social Security Number is required for consideration
Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
