Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

Position is based in the Surgery department (Operating Room) of a hospital setting
Typical cases handled in the OR/surgery environment
Scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Thirteen-week contract assignment
References required: one professional reference for Texas placements
Documentation must include application, skills checklist, references, license verification, and copies of certifications
Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding
Holiday and weekend coverage expectations will be communicated prior to assignment

Requirements

Active TX or compact state RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
