Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Texas, requiring night shifts and specialized certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Responsible for providing comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns
50-mile radius rule applies – local candidates not accepted
References required: one professional reference for candidates in Texas
Social security number and date of birth required for consideration

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) 9th Edition required from the American Academy of Pediatrics
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
