Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Med/Surg Telemetry travel assignment, requiring a NH or compact RN license and at least one year of recent MS/Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Med/Surg (Telemetry) unit of an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Telemetry patients with a focus on cardiac cases
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Responsible for providing telemetry care and monitoring to cardiac med/surg patients
• Adhere to hospital and unit protocols while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Scrub color or dress code will be specified during onboarding
• Travelers should be prepared to meet all facility compliance and health screening requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent MS/Tele experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required with no expiration in the first 30 days
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must provide professional reference(s) as specified for the state
• Must submit US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
