Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a NH or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Adult medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
• Provide patient care and monitoring in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Holiday coverage may be required per unit needs
• US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required with no expiration within first 30 days
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• References required: One for NH; more may be required by other states
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not eligible
