Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with robotic surgery experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications for a hospital surgical unit in CO.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the hospital surgical unit
• Role includes preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
• Handles cases including orthopedics (totals, no spine), ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, general surgery (appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel, hernia), cesarean sections, ENT, colonoscopy, and EGD procedures
• Utilizes Da Vinci and Mako robotic surgical equipment
• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week, typically between 6am-4:30pm or 7am-5:30pm
• On-call required one evening per week (5pm-6am) and approximately one 24-hour weekend per month
• Nurse is responsible for a broad variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties
• Team supports robotics, general surgeries, and emergency procedures
• First time travelers will be considered
• No specific radius or local candidate restrictions noted
• Scrub color is not specified

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience in preop, intraop, and postop surgery nursing
• Experience with robotic surgical procedures using Da Vinci and Mako systems preferred
